Cream is a completely free text editor, which is basically a modernized and updated version of the popular Vim. For those that don´t know, Vim is a powerful editor and direct descendent of the mythical Vi, from 1976.

What was the main problem with the Vim text editor? Well, the learning curve was very steep. Vim wasn´t designed to be easy to use, nor very powerful or flexible in a hard to follow interface. So Cream came along: it takes all the Vim virtues, and offers it all in an accessible and familiar interface. Whether you are writing an email or if you are developing large-sized applications and writing code, Cream will save you huge amounts of time and effort. It may seem incredible but it does it all quicker.

Cream is a completely free text editr that doesn`t take up much space on your dis: just under one megabyte. Without doubt a worthwhile download. The main Cream features:
